Fall season believe it or not is my FAVORITE season, it has not happened yet but I love when the trees start dressing up with its colors, so pretty :)
Food in the fall is amazing in Japan! 焼き芋(sweet potato)、栗(chestnut)、モンブラン(mont blank cake)、かぼちゃ(Squash)、さんま (Pacific Saury) and so much more!
All to say that fall is an exciting season for me!
It has been exciting time with my family also.
My older sister Lauren is getting married this weekend!
My dad came back from finishing his crosswalk, he walked across Japan carrying a cross. Glad He is back safely.
My dad is also turning 61 this week!
My younger sister Lana is back for 4 weeks from Australia where she is staffing YWAM.
So our family is in celebration mode but also comes with tons of work!
Getting married looks like TONS of work! I am so glad that I am in church community where people are so willing to help out with the wedding! Fellowship of believers, SO good!
I am also very thankful for the community I am placed! I serve God with an amazing people!
I get cultural shock and I do not relate with all that they talk about (90 percent of our community is North American) BUT I love each and every one of them, they are so precious and beautiful in my sight. I am so lucky to be given so many brothers and sisters who loves the God first! THANK YOU JESUS and to know that they have come to serve the nation I was born and raised in. MAN I am thankful for the workers He is sending in Japan. MORE LORD!
God is so faithful and kind, He extends mercy and grace that never ends!
He is providing for all my needs and at times He gifts me with things that I don't need but He does cause He just loves giving me good gifts! He is a wonderful father.
What are you thankful for today?
Share your thanksgiving and let's celebrate what He is doing! yay yay yay

Hi-b.a. Camp
Hi-b.a. (High school Born Again) is youth ministry that came originally from the states but it is also in Japan. I attend international Hi-b.a. and serve there as volunteer staff.
We do our rallies at a place that is right beside the school in Tokyo called Christian Academy in Japan.
I graduated there and as a high school student I've attended Hi-b.a. and it has been a place where I received refreshment, confirmation and encouragement from the Lord.
SO it is really good and awesome that I get to be part of something that was influential in my life.
Here's are some picture from camp!
This year I was privileged to give a message at the first night session. I was extremely nervous but God worked in me and showed me my weakness and lack of trust in the Lord so it was really good for me to be broken before Him. It was good for my relationship with the Lord and it felt good to be honest and vulnerable in front of the students it was an amazing experience!
It ended up encouraging the campers so PRAISE THE LORD!
He can us ANYBODY! WEAKER THE BETTER haha More evidence of God's faithfulness and goodness and greatness of His abilities COME ON!
WELCOME!
FOOD WAS SO GOOD
FUN FUN FUN!
BEACH
WORSHIP BAND真剣に賛美しましたw
Time of worship!
Wonderful time for congratulating the senior! by featuring Alice in the wonderland ;)
Wonderful Staff <3
Amazing Camp !
God is faithful and good. He loves unconditionally and He never runs out, He does not stop loving us no matter what He has decided and He will forever stick to love us.
It was so refreshing to see campers being touched by His love for the first time, having the revelation that they are not rejected but accepted by Him.
They all have grown not only in the knowledge of God but passion to pour out the love that has been given to others and most importantly back to Him.
I am excited to see the growth I will see more as I grow alongside with them this year.
So pray for these students and also staff that are involved at hi-b.a. for wisdom and patience, knowing what God has for us instead of what we want or make it happen, His ideas are better ;)
Also pray for me as I continue in my outreach phase! God's good during this week while I was gone to camp other Dts Students and staff did local outreach and they saw 4 salvation! THANK YOU JESUS!
Pray that God will continue to do the things that He does, restore, reconcile, save, heal and redeem!
AMEN
Love You guys.

It's been long time once again haha PHILIPPINES
Hello people YES you clearly know I am not good at blogs but I will NOT give up I will keep trying!
I just now came back from outreach trip to the Philippines, this was my second time to lead a team to Philippines it was different experience once again and it was amazing what God has done through each of us!
Our reasons for going to Philippines was to reach the bar girls and stopping prostitution there.
We went to the bars at night and spend time loving on them, letting them know that they are loved by Jesus and that they are precious in the kingdom.
We also went to the countryside of the Philippines and reached to the tribal there, we went to couple other different ministries in the Philippines and encouraging the body of Christ, and also loving and caring the base that we stayed at. The base has many girls living and working majority escaped the bars to get equipped to learn other ways to get jobs and getting discipled learning/knowing more about Jesus :)
Isn't that neat? I am so blessed and honored to be able to work for the kingdom just loving Him first and loving on the people around me no matter where there are at. JUST LIKE JESUS.
Here are some pictures to show you my trip with my team
My Lovely Team from YWAM Tokyo DTS :)
(we were doing a treasure haunt one of the girl got orange clothing, another girl got ice cream, another girl got cones and another girl got the number 2 walking around the mall we saw a family and sure enough the girl was wearing orange they had two ice cream with cones ! haha) We prayed for them and it was great ;) GOD IS SO GOOD
Haha We went on a hike to tribal church, it was amazing beautiful and adventurous!
It was worth the walk. City girl like me had a little rough time ;p But the view was gorgeous!
We also went to Kingdom Kids where many street kids are and they have ministry where it is basically like a Children church! Majority are children and older kids are discipling younger kids and it is so precious to see faith like a child right in front of you!
We finished are outreach with Dance party at the base and it was pouring rain which made the party way more fun!!!! We praised God and had fun and loved on each other.
Saying goodbyes was tough and it was hard for the people there as well but we believe in faith that what we have done will bear eternal fruit! We did 24hr burn which also was an amazing time for all of us. Students loved it, learned from it and they grew just this two weeks so I am looking forward to rest of what our local outreach here in Japan will look like!
Continue to pray for me and support me in the ways you can ;)
I love you all and appreciate all that you do for me !

I love each and every single one of them and each of them were totally being the light in the Philippines
The Kids at the base where we stayed at. This is our base's third time going to outreach in the Philippines and everytime we stay at this base and one of our highlights are being able to love the people here at the base and partnering with their vision in saving girls/ladyboys from prostitution.
This year we also had New Zealand team with us and we worked together in ministries & evangelism!
They were an amazing team that brought refreshment to us ;)
Others are people (workers, disciples, staff) that lives at this base!
They have become family to us :)
These are some of the bar girls from "Escape bar"
The girls are very open to the word of God many of them call themselves Christians and Philippine is known as a Christian Nation and so the truth has been spoken everywhere here.
It was good to just love on them and have fun with them praying for them and encouraging them to live their lives worthy of His calling. Many of the girls I met was under 22 and they already have kids and their means to work is for their children's needs.
None of them enjoys the job but they often say they have no choice.
Pray that they will return to God and rely on every needs from Him!
We had an open air where we did many skits/worship/short messages to spread the gospel it was great!
Many people actually gathered around and stayed for the whole thing!
Our team was able to reach to people and pray for people.
One person was saved that they from one of the guys evangelizing to him! Praise the Lord!
And OFCOURSE I would find a Japanese! Hehehe
Praying for Jojo, guy that I met during open air, he is a dancer. He was even on a show with his crew!
People we met during evangelism!
Left:Junior High students Right: Family!

They have Bible study every week at the bar!!! Isn't that awesome!? We went there and we did worship, testimony from former prostitute and short messages, afterwards we got into a small group and prayed for the girls many were touched!

It's been long time...
I said I was not well with updating blogs haha
Life has been wonderful! Went through some tough season but God is good.
One thing I love about God is that He can heal me.
I can ask in my prayer for Him to break me and get rid of all the junk...that would probably hurt.
But God can heal it anytime. Knowing that I can ask Him to break me and mold me to what He wants me to be.
This morning I was just praying for Japan and especially Tohoku area.
Felt such sorrow and pain. I wish I could be there. I want to be there. I hope to be there soon.
I want them to be healed, I want them to feel release from their pain and wounds.
I want to lay hands and pray that they may feel the Father's love.
Tohoku part of Japan is still left destroyed but I wonder how much more of the heart's of the people are being destroyed through this. I can only imagine the fear and the sorrow they go through.
In spite of all that I know that God is still good, He is good King and good God.
I can trust in Him that He is going to make and build something beautiful.
He is good, He restores, He rebuilds, He makes something new, better for His glory.
I trust in the future of Japan for He has made for His pleasure and WE WILL receive Him with Our whole heart!

If you just realize
Today I once again realized that I do not know my God AT ALL, in a good way.
I have tasted and seen how wonderful and exciting He is yet I have yet to taste and see
His glorious and richness of love. It starts by recognizing that I don't get it ;)
More and more I am understanding that ALL things comes from God and I never create
ANYTHING good. Genuinely good stuff God puts in my heart, all that I got to do is partner with Him.
As I understand how much of nothing I am, I can know how everything God is
but funny thing is the more I know how everything God is I don't feel like I am nothing but I feel like I am part of everything because God who is everything gave His everything for me. That is just crazy.
He totally has every right to own me and use me and do whatever He wants with me BUT He chooses to wait for His beloved for them to choose Him and say "I choose You, I love You", although there is no other way but Him...its hard to comprehend, doesn't make sense in my mind but my spirit agrees in my heart that this is true and this is what I should devote all my heart, time, effort, money, LIFE into.
Being a missionary in Japan is straight up privilege. It is joyful thing :)
I hear people say this nation is hard, missionary graveyard, it is so tough...well saying all of that will certainly not advance the kingdom does it? hehe
God created this nation, He created every single Japanese and He chose me to be a witness of Jesus to the people here. Are there battles? YES but it is so worth fighting for. My God is totally worth the battle and to me my home, the people here in Japan are worth fighting for.
This nation is for sure redeemable, restorable, and rebuildable cause its in the hand of God.
There is nothing He cannot do for this nation, He can save every single Japanese people in a second if He wants to but He chooses people like me and others to move through because He loves partnership. He is always, all the time about relationship. Always, always always wanting to do it together with us.
Today I thank God that He trust my heart for Japan and the Japanese people here.
In spite of my weakness, although He sees every mistake and disobedience, He again and again use me to make His name known because He is committed to Japan more than I am and He is committed to my life more than I am. Lord I thank You for Your humility and patient towards me that You will receive my broken love and broken prayer and still receives it with joy and gladness. Break me deeper and mold me into more like You Jesus. Let everything be a glory and praise to You.

Winter has come
God has been blessing me with so many things including this spiritual season of winter where everything seems cold, dark and lonely.
He is challenging me and going deeper in my heart where it is not aligned with who God is and who I am suppose to be. Being more in the image of our fullness takes some breaking and molding to do which can be painful and awful. Experiencing defeat and just challenge and pain. BUT just so grateful at the same time for this season because I know that winter isn't going to last forever. I am not waiting till it passes I know it is a journey God wants to take me to build my faith, going deeper with Him and just experiencing His power and justice. His unfailing loving kindness and grace that I just got to receive with humility.
The fact that my journey came to a point where I allow God to bring season of winter in my life I am thankful to know that my relationship with God is going deeper and deeper each day.
I feel so out of control but God is so sweet and good I know this by fact and just by living my life with Him so now even if I don't see, feel, hear anything from Him I know by faith that He is faithful and just, good and right. Its so much more deeper that I can go with Him...I want to go there, deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper with Him.
Good news is its okay to cry when you are in pain that I don't have to pretend like I am all joyful jumping up and down like I always do haha. My mom told me to just always say "but I walk in faith" and even in those winter times stars shine and skies are beautiful and it is true. And one day He will once again come and next time He will take me into a new journey. Until then I must receive this journey and season with joy and thanksgiving. Being obedient and patient. Receiving His mercy and grace every morning. Giving praise and adoration day and night to my God, my King, my friend, my love.
Until He says
"Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away,
for behold, the winter is past the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom;
they give forth fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one and come away.
O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the crannies of the cliff,
let me see your face, let me hear your voice,
for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely" (Song of Solomon 2:10 - 14)
Then I shall be even more ready to go wherever He wants me to go and be whoever He has called me to be.
All I am His and He is mine.

Sunday
I went to church on sunday and it is amazing what had taken place :)
I attended the service and I led worship with the band and fellowship afterwards and I was about to go home and one of the members of the church hands over me this guy to me and tells him "oh she can pray healing for you" I was shocked. I mean I have been going to this church for 7 years or so and they've supported me to go to YWAM DTS and when I came back I shared stories after stories about God's miracles and His power but it wasn't really clicking to them because it is not what we see here in Japan regularly on sundays. I remember God clearly telling me to go under them and serve. Times and times again when I humbled myself and served God has given me opportunities to share and minister to people. It is so good. They now know me and trust me and them allowing me to pray for healing for this guy just made my day. The pain left him too by the way so double plus!
Writing this just reminds me of the scriptures that talks about God blessing those who are humble and contrite. I must learn that more. Jesus served people. Our GOd is humble..so if I'm not..ummm something is wrong.
In the afternoon I was able to catch up with my cousin who I adore and respect so much.
During this week's lecture the speaker talked on true fellowship, asking us do we have friends that we can say in love that they are not walking in freedom, truth and love that they are able to minister them right there and the bond goes deeper. When he was speaking that something in my heart sank cause I felt like I did not really have that kind of friends where I can say what they are doing wrong and they would trust me that I am saying in love and not in a prideful way and a friend that allows me to minister to their heart..it kind of grieved me for a bit but I know God has given me amazing friends who cares and loves me so I just need to risk it and when they are not walking in truth to confront them...that is true love.
Anyways so I was able to not really confront here but when deep to her wound and challenged her to expose it to and forgive those who have hurt her. At first I could tell she wasn't sure about it but then she says "where do I do that, now?" and so I was like " yea lets do it right now" so right there at subway (perfect) we just prayed and she was able to just pray forgiveness, she repented, she blessed those who hurt her, she rebuked every assignment of the enemies and asked holy spirit to minister to her.
It was AMAZING, So good cause I could totally tell the lightness of heart in her. She smiles and hugs me and what the speaker talked about this week hit me. "I have one!" haha. What a quick answer God gave me. "Lindsey you have it, I have given you people in your life but it is up to you how much you allow yourself to let them go deep into your heart and how much you allow your heart to love them"
I miss my friends who are all over the world. I pray for them. Now I should show it more visibly ;)
God you are good! Thank you for my Family and friends who are all over the world. Keep them safe and bless them bless them bless them. Massive anointing and let everything that they do be all for your glory!!
